Roman smiled at her, and his voice did that high pitched English thing as he said, “You are!” Then he hugged her, gave her a quick kiss, and stood out of bed, leaning on the table for support. The dizziness was already improving. “You need to eat too, come on.” If he was eating more, he wasn’t letting her get away without eating anything.~ Roman
Rand giggled at his tone. “I must have failed jailor school. I’m forcing you to eat, food that you like!” After he kissed her and curled up against her pillow. She didn’t feel like getting up. She sighed making quite the production of having to get up. “Okay, okayokayokay. I’m getting up.” She walked over the table and grinned. A friend chicken filet, mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. She wasn’t sure who picked the meal (it wasn’t Randy), but she thought it was great. Roman would never eat all that. He was probably hungry enough, but didn’t realize it. “Do you want tea?” She was grinning just a little too much.
Rand
Roman looked down at the food with a playfully troubled look. How was he going to eat all this? He already felt full. He’d be too nauseous from overeating to enjoy the gown at this rate. With a stubborn grunt he picked up his plate and sat down at the table. “Tea, yes. To wash this down with.” It smelled good, at least. It was heavier food than he’d had in all those weeks.

Rand moved over to the counter and started the tea. She set water on the table in the meantime and sat down while she waited for it to eat. She stopped herself from telling him not to force it, she would wear the gown anyway. She didn’t want him sick. But stopped herself. No need to tell him that, right now.
She made the tea extra strong to accommodate the extra honey she put in it. She picked at her own food at first before she finally was able to find her own apatite.
Rand
Roman started with the mash potatoes, and then moved on to the chicken. He ate half of it before he had to stop for a minute and drank some of his tea. Then he had some of the veggies. He watched Rand out of the corner of his eye, making sure she was eating too. He knew Rand thought he’d never eat this much. He was determined to prove her wrong.

Rand watched from the corner of her eye. She was having a hard time deciding if she was happy or nervous over him holding up his end of the deal. Then being nervous over it made her feel selfish and then she felt bad. She ate, picking at it, taking small bites. Much like she had that morning at breakfast. Taking long silent moments between. At least the food wasn’t heavily fried. It was good, it really was, but it didn’t taste so to her. She made herself take bigger bites, the food was good and Chef worked really hard. She knew it was just nerves and anxiety over Randy and her grandfather, and if she didn’t eat, Roman might go get Randy, again. And she couldn’t very well expect Roman to eat the whole meal if she didn’t. At one point she caught Roman watching her when she glanced over at him, and she grinned. She couldn’t help it, nor did she want to. “Is your head feeling any better yet?”
Rand
Roman smiled back when she grinned at him, swallowing another bite of the veggies. They were almost gone. “I wasn’t as dizzy getting up. The Sherlock reader’s theatre did give me a bit of a headache,” he told her and then he finished off the steamed veggies and took another drink of his tea. Half of a chicken fillet to go. He’d be done in no time.

“Oh well, it gave me one too. I thought being shorter it might be easier to follow, but apparently not. It felt even more complicated for being forced into an hour’s time span.” At this rate Roman was actually going to finish eating before her. Despite the food on her stomach the plain water was making her queasy. She hadn’t made any tea for herself so she got up and made citrus tea, and added something to it. Soon the aroma of lemon and lime was mixed with ginger. Her stomach really had nothing to do with their deal, and if Roman asked, she would tell him. It had to do with her nightmare. It always left her jittery and ‘off’ all day. That included her apatite.
Rand
Roman finished off the chicken and triumphantly set his plate aside. Then he drained his tea. When he looked up, she was at the counter making herself tea. Citrus and ginger, by the smell. “Making citrus tea?” He asked. Wasn’t ginger the one that helped with upset stomachs? Was she feeling that unwell over the gown?
