A short time later 10 more red shirted NEs showed up with type-2 pistols at the ready. “..Ensign Wicky and team reporting as ordered sir!” He said.

Cleolet saw the reinforcements arrive and breathed a sigh of relief. She felt better knowing they had more bodies. It increased there chances in so many ways. As she waited for the XO to issue out the order she moved a litre further away from the mine entrance, closer to the rest of the away team.

With the captain reaching out to Alden, Rand didn’t need to make her hourly check-in and so she was purposely wandering the area taking scans and recording conversations and observations to transcribe for reports later. With the arrival of reinforcements, she took a deep breath and reminded herself to just do her job. A couple nodded to her, having been at that horribly embarrassing self-defense class. She nodded, turning her back to the mining entrance, making note of the names of the new arrivals. And then....

She felt something grab her and before she could scream she lost her ability to breath and everything went black…
