[snip]Cleolets ears lowered and she sighed sadly “We’ve lost NE Gob” she said solemnly. then she said a small prey in Catian. The contents of which where unknow as Catian was a complex language and the Universal translator struggled to decipher it. Though Cleolet wasn’t very religious she still felt it was necessary to at least say something. She figured this was probably what happened to the missing colonists.
But what was it that attacked them. Cleoelt turned t the rest if the away team and walked over to the hole in the floor “Find anything Yeoman” Cleolet asked her tone was short, which was odd for Cleolet.

The Yeoman looked at Cleolet and to the body with a sombre look, “Urm” She returned to look in her immediate vicinity before using the scanning device they had all been issued to see if anything wasn’t showing up visually. The usual bubbly Yeoman was definitely not feeling like how she did when she entered the cave, “I think I’ve found something…”
- Ne Yeoman
Roman headed ove to the Yeoman, staying a safe distance from what she was looking at. “What is it?” He asked. The loss of the NE upset him, he hated losing crewman. But his emotions did not show on his face, for there were more important things to be worried about. Like what the hell had killed him.

Anderson stood still, staring at the dead body for a few moments before shaking off the mixture of shock and disgust. He stepped forward and used his own scanning device to try to gather data. Whatever that thing was, perhaps it had been involved in the other disappearances. If they could get to the bottom of that, they might be able to save the colony.
Anderson, sec/Sci
Results of the scan showed there was an acid made crack tunnel in the floor, impossible to get more then a few fingers into the crack where the acid blob had gone but definitely going deeper into the mine. If they were to follow it they would need to use the tunnels and elevator shafts nearby. Of course the bubbling blobs foreboding words of ‘Go back the darkness shall not be breached’ echoed seemingly in their minds as a warning of more danger to come if they did go deeper.

Cleolet looked at the results and then the hole “It went further into the mines. If it’s done this to one of us I don’t hold out much hope for the missing colonists” she said gravely
“Let’s keep the move positive, shall we?” Roman said, though he shared her sentiment.
“Should we call for more reinforcements before we continue?” she asked. The tunnels where going to be a maze and if there where more of those blobs, added to there speed. Meant all of the away team could be killed. It made sense to Cleolet get as many people down here as possible and move in large groups. then no one can get cornered or picked off.
Ensign Cleoelt (Engineer)
To Roman, a larger group meant more potential victims and more people to keep track of. He’d rather keep the group small and close together. “No. Or minimal reinforcements at best,” he replied to Cleolet. “I’d rather not risk more lives than necessary. We’ll need to exercise caution, I don’t believe any of us fancy becoming one with acidic… whatever the hell those are,” He added. Not very scientific, but they really had no information besides ‘it’s acidic and blobby’. Less information than he’d prefer and the only way to discover more, was to move on.

” Yes Sir” Cleolet replied. but inside she was concerned these blobs could come out of nowhere and disappear just as quickly. She hoped her reflexes would be fast enough to shoot one if she needed to she had faster reaction then most of crew thanks to her species, but she didn’t even know if a phaser would do anything. She guessed she’d just have to hope for the best.
=c= Landing Party one its the Captain, we’ve just arrived in the settlement and It seems the missing person estimate is far greater than anticipated. Please report your situation.=c= His voice came across as if he was in some kind of wind tunnel along with the static it would be difficult to make out his words, though not impossible.

Ensign Cleolet (Engineer)
Roman couldn’t quite make out part of what the Captain had said. Something about the missing person estimate. And a report. He could give a report at least, though he hoped the Captain would be able to receive it. =c= Captain, Alden here. We’re not far into the mines just yet, with minimal information on the perpetrator of these crimes. We’re headed deeper to find out more.=c=
~ Lt Cmdr Alden, XO/CSO
=C= Very well Commander, keep your head on a swivel we’ve heard some disturbing reports so I’m sending some more Security to you, they should arrive in the next thirty minutes. =C=
- Captain Elijah Carmichael
The news of more reinforcements cheered Cleolet up a bit. However she wished they would get here sooner. Half an hour is plenty of time for her and the away team to get lost. then the reinforcements will be looking for them. Which could mean they could get lost as well. She didn’t say anything though and waited for the Commander to tell her what to do. It was his call, she just hoped he made the right one.
