NE Willickers was the chief on hand in the transporter room when the first of the red shirt NEs came in for the landing party to the mining planet. Running his hand over the gleaming and clean panel he wiped some scuff marks away while he waited for the rest of the party to assemble.

Ford strode in, having distributed weapons to the rest of the party, and nodded to his assembled men. He glanced at the chief then did a double take, a grin slowly spreading across his face.

“Didn’t realize you’d been reassigned to the Sentinel, George,” he said, extending his hand to NE Willickers. “Glad to know wereyin good hands.”
