So just as soon as he had gotten his office just the way he wanted it word of course comes down from on high that they are moving to a brand new ship spec. Ooh shiny and still with that new ship smell, he was sure that it was exciting g for everyone but all Paul was bothered about was now, he would need to get engineering to regang the knick knacks in the bloody office and he had an entirely new set of biobeds and scanners to recalibrate. Star-fleet medical textbook readings my eye he thought as he walked down the next T junction and took in the sights of another corridor.

It was often a misunderstood fact that what one saw on a blue print or a map didn’t always look the same in real life. If he was going to attend injuries etc around the ship then he was damn well going to know his way around the place.

That’s why as soon as he had clearance to board, dumped his stuff he had started wondering. First from his quarters to sick bay and back half a dozen times, then from his quarters to the mess…the bridge…engineering…etc. That was roughly five hours ago.

Now he had paused, leaning on an observation panel and eating his way through a silver covered ration bar from his pocket.
