The Icelandic security officer entered sickbay for his boarding physical.

Rauður waited patiently to be seen by one of the medical staff.

Max was crossing the room with some supplies when she saw the tall security officer standing in the corner.

“Ensign, can I help you with anything?” she asked, “I’m Nurse Church.”

• Nurse Max Church

“I’m Bolurson, newly appointed out of the Academy, I’m here for my boarding physical, my orders have already come across, Nurse Church,” Rauður replied to her.

“Oh yes, Mr Bolurson,” Max replied, “we’ve received your physical reports from the Academy, get up on the biobed and I’ll run the usual scans to make sure your right to get to work.”

“Appreciated Nurse,” Rauður said as he got up on the biobed.

After he got on it, Max continued, “anything happened since your previous physical that we need to be aware of?”

As the scans commenced, Rauður said, “well, I did get engaged, and if our friendship worked out the way I hope it does, I should be a father by this time next year.”

The scans would show that Rauður Bolurson was within all standard ranges for an Icelandic human of his height and weight.
