Cori pointed down the corridor. “Cargo Bay A on this deck. And then from there, who knows,” she said as they walked.
Stepping into the cargo bay, Cori walked around slowly and shook her head as she eyed the multiple levels of crates and he electric eyes went wide. “Right, I knew this was a ‘needle in the haystack’ situation, but this could be worse than that,” she said, glancing at Sinclair. “I mean, I know everything that is logged in the system here, but that’s the point, right? We’re looking for something that isn’t logged.” She could hear the frustration in her voice and sighed.

“Relax.” he said with a smile, and then turned and looked at the assembled crates and boxes. “Ok, so let’s narrow the field. Think back and try to remember what else was with the shoes. Cross check that with what is logged, and maybe we can find a starting point for this treasure hunt.”
Sinclair, CoS
“Treasure hunt?” Asked Ella as she entered the cargo bay having only caught the final part of their conversation, after having finally tracked down her illusive boss. “So that’s why I haven’t been able to find you sir,” She said with a smile a data PaDD in hand which required his attention but now she was more intrigued into what they were doing, or more pointedly what they were looking for. “So whos lost what?”
OOC: Previously spoke to Cori, as I was enjoying reading and thought this would be a good opportunity for Ella.

Royal looked at the Ensign and then at Corinne. “Your call. Your ‘treasure’.”
Sinclair, CoS
Cori chewed on the inside of her cheek slightly and considered it. Then she shrugged, exhaling slightly. “Well, the more people who help the faster we might find it.”
Gazing at Lokaa, Dalton’s ever-vibrant eyes took her in. “I’m missing a crate of my possessions when I was declared… missing for quite awhile. My stuff was put into storage as I have no family for it to have been sent to. In this crate is the last pair of ballet pointe shoes I had been using and they are quite sentimental to me. Also in the create of a framed picture of both sets of my parents. I’m not sure what else might have been tossed in there at this point, but that’s what I know should be in there at minimum,” she said, answering Sinclair’s question while she was at it.

A ballet dancer herself Ella could understand the value of some pointe shoes and the added photos and the whole story behind it (even though she didn’t know the whole story.) “Well ofcourse ill help! Id go crazy if I lost my pointe shoes! I guess you’ve checked the inventory and cargo bays.”
Ella held her hand to her chin in concentration before she had a momentary light bulb moment. “Have you checked the replicator buffer system, in some vases personal effects of urm… Missing and urm.. Deceased personal affects are deconstructed and held in a kind of stasis for reasons like lack of space or even just for cleaning and wouldnt be in any inventory because its not physically present in a single location. ” The idea only cominf to her because it was something often taught on Elas. Nothing goes to waste.

Cori shook her head. “Not in this case, sadly. I have the rest of my stuff though. And though it was all moved around, it was logged each time, but somehow this one crate has just… disappeared.” It was hard to explain to people that anything that went through the computer could in fact go through her too, so she would have known if something like that had occurred. “Besides, anything like that would have had to be logged too. Not that someone couldn’t forget, but it seems odd that they would try to put only one crate in stasis of any kind and not the rest.”
~Corinne Dalton
“So can we find your other stuff? Maybe the crate is with it.”
Sinclair, CoS
