Room, Check. Department head, Check. Captain, Check.

All that there was left to do before Ella could really begin her first day exploring the ship and getting to know its crew was her medical examination. Ella naturally hated medical examinations. Everyone always found her anatomy so interesting, it was the bloody tears. Everyone always had to know about the bloody tears and if they could have some or try it or even try and cure it, every time Ella would say no. She liked her tears and they were just for her. This put Ella in a bad mood.

Stepping into the sickbay she looked around, it didn’t have the same awe-inspiring moment as when she had stepped off onto the bridge but it was clean and neat so the Chief Medical Officer was clearly devoted to this space. Like many on the ship Ella knew the CMO was a Human but unlike her previous check-ins, this one was a female. “Urm, Hello? I’m here for my initial medical examination.” Ella reckoned if she had mentioned she was Elasian they’d be poking and prodding her before she could even say Elasian.

Hearing the swish of the pneumatic doors Nat looked over from the nursing station. She had had enough of Max Malone: Megacop but it was fourteen hundred hours and Kavonne Washington was glued to the screen messaging her cousins about the episode. “Don’t worry I will get them,” she said to the head nurse.

“Girl hush you know I am on break,” she rolled her eyes at Natasha. Normally this would be considered insubordinate but Kavonne knew Natasha was never going to find someone as dedicated as her so the CMO could deal with covering the sickbay for the hour of her daily show.

Letting out a deep sigh, she moved across sickbay to greet the ensign who had answered. “Hello, I am Natasha Knight,” she stuck out her hand. “What can I do for you?”

Hearing the feminine response and then seeing the woman Ella smiled. She was shorter than she was and her hair a dark brown which settled elegantly at the woman’s shoulders. He eyes a lighter shade of green set upon a fair-skinned face, Ella had thought that she almost looked like an older identical version of herself if someone had locked her in a dark room and she lost her rose gold skin and dark green eyes. It didn’t mean the woman now in front of her was any less pretty than her, just pretty in different ways.

“I have just arrived aboard the ship and I’m told I require a preliminary medical examination, I am Ensign Ella Lokaa.” Explained the young Elasian.

“Welcome to the Saracen then,” Natasha smiles tucking a lock of long dark hair behind her ear as she typed the name into her PaDD. Scanning the info over quickly she hit the intake tab bringing up the appropriate documents. . “If you want to come over here we can get started,” she motioned for Lokaa to take a seat on one of the bio beds. Pulling out a tricorder Natasha began to scan the patient. “So where did you do your cadet cruise?”

Ella’s eyes followed the tricorder as to her the chief medical officer made random paterns around her body. “I did my Cadet flight on the USS Endeavour.” She answered simply before realising that it didnt hold much detail. “It was meant to be a supply mission to alpha centuri but after hearing a distress signal from a civilian freighter it turned into a lot more as im told the cadet cruises do.”

OOC: I chose the endeavour because i didn’t do the academy. So thought for the ability to make up a plot and characters it would be better than a manned ship.
