It was the Quietest part of the shift, The Saracen had just docked and a flurry of people had come through. Lews had dimissed the others to enjoy the day once the rush had died down. That was how the grey haired man found himself sweeping up the last of the hair on the floor. His tools were put away neatly, and he expected to finish out his day, his last day before moved on. There was a calm zen like quality to the man as he worked.Anaeawd Llewelyn Iarnuuocon, Barber
Outside in the corridor, Dante came to the door of the Barber shop on the star base and paused slightly. In his mind, he was thinking of an odd set of notes he had received before leaving for his odd duty time on the base. On a PaDD had arrived a set of crew rotation lists that, among the many, indicated that a Civilian was to be joining the ship to take on the Barber room. He had thought it slightly odd that this note was singled out instead of incorporated among the civilian transfer lists, but he never had time to dwell on it as around 10 seconds after he finished reading the PaDD, it self destructed with a thin wisp of smoke indicating the internals had been fried, completely.
Shrugging off the thought, Dante walked through the doors to find the man, white knee length coat and long hair sweeping up the days takings. “Evening” he said cheerfully, “Did I come in too late for a haircut?” he asked, running his fingers through his mop of once black but now slightly, ever so slightly, dark brown/almost black hair.

Turning one of the chairs. “No Captain, have a seat”, Lews said patting the chair. Then stepping over to grab his kit, warm a few towels. “What do you favor, Captain Knight is it?”
Lews unrolled the roll that held his scissors, razors, and other barber tools. “Can I get you a drink?” Lews said walking past the Captain to turn off the open sign.

“Am I that late?” He asked the man, noting the turning off of the sign, but sliding into the chair anyway as told, the man did have sharp objects after all.
“If you have somewhere to be I can always come back tomorrow, there is no rush” he said with a smile, “the Saracen is going to be in dock for a while. Lagavulin if I may he said, accepting the drink even if the man did have somewhere to be. On the rocks please.” A haircut and a drink, Dante could almost grow to like that. He was going to have to suggest it to the ships new Barber when he arrived. “About yay long on top” he said, “shorter on the sides and swept back, do you do the beard as well, or just the hair?”
