Dante looked up as Colter walked in and nodded in greeting. “We believe that Greene may be holding a rally at Central Park, and these two gentlemen here” he indicated the screen, “are one of these things that shouldn’t belong here. Triton and Mr Gordon are on Location, are you recovered enough to Join them?”

“I am, sir,” replied DaVinci. He turned to look at the screen, studying the faces of the the men Dante had indicated. He memorized their faces and turned back to the Captain. “I’ll beam down as soon as I change into something more appropriate.”

Dante nodded and smiled at the man, Colter was turning out to be an invaluable asset to both the crew and himself, “Make it so Commander” he said, “and good luck. We will be keeping watch from here and can have extra people on the ground in moments.”

Now, at least having an idea of who they were looking for, DaVinci rushed from the bridge to the transporter room. He stopped only long enough to change into a dark suit, dark sunglasses, and an an small earpiece. He was dressed as a secret service agent of the early 21st century. Under his jacked, he carried a small set of high-powered binoculars. The next moment he was beaming down near Central Park.

As Colter approached the rally, he noticed something. He couldn’t place his exact finger on what bothered him, but it was certainly very crowded. Too crowded, in fact. If Greene was to be killed, judging from the density of the crowd, it might prove difficult to get a clean shot and get away.

A signal was patched to the viewscreen on the Bridge and she would see the Bridge crew a bit surprised to see her on the screen.

“Captain,” Corinne greeted. The background was darkened, so they couldn’t see her surroundings. “I’ve been speaking with Bradley, the AI of the shuttle. I’m not entirely sure what might be useful, but you should know that Bradley was programmed to not give away much of any information. And where he’s from, AI’s can feel pain. If he was to divulge things he’s been forbidden to, there would be great consequences. You can imagine that I was not willing to inflict harm upon him for our gain.”

Dante nodded as Corinne spoke, it was hard to imagine a program, and AI, being able to feel pain but to Dante, the programming of such was no less a barbaric act than the act of torture itself. Creating the ability for a sentient being to feel pain as a punishment spoke little of the culture or being that created such. “Noted” he said to the face on the screen, until he was able to ‘sit down’ and have a conversation with the being, AI, person, it left him a little unsure of what to call her. “Hopefully what you did manage to retrieve will shed some light on the situation, if not, we can work on a way to reprogram the AI once we know more about it to remove that block.”

On the screen, Dante noted the developments on the ground below them having the ship tracking the signals of the away team. Watching Colter, he noted the shot being taken, half tempted to beam the shooter out first but with the possibility of a field disrupting transporters around the unknown shooter, stayed his hand and let the shot fly, but..
