She had come ‘home’ in the middle of the night, and decided to sleep instead of checking in. So here she was, strolling into medical early on first shift to check back in and get her new scars logged for the record. Stepping into the room, she glanced around to see who was there. She looked a bit more worse for wear than when she had left several months ago. “Medical, Security Chief, and CO… blah blah blah,” she said again to herself for the umpteenth time. She hadn’t even bothered to read to orders completely. “Report to Saracen” was all she needed. She was sure there was another CoS, that was obvious. She ‘had’ been gone for long enough to not expect her position back. Whoever the CO put in charge would be worthy of the position, anyway.
