Pre-Sim: Counselor's Office

Puzzling over how she could improve the size of the CMO’s office without impacting the rest of Sickbay too much, Enina easily made her way to her next stop: the counselor’s office. Rolling her eyes with a sigh, she pushed the door chime and waited to be allowed entrance to get this over with as soon as possible.

The door slid open without a sound to reveal the office on the other side. It was a less harshly lit room with a desk in one corner, a chair facing away from it directly in front. That chair faced a seating area with two other chairs and a couch surrounding a small, low table on which sat a glass bowl filled with various colored semi-transparent beads. Each gave of a soft glow that lit the bowl slightly, but nothing else. On one wall was a low shelf containing books, PaDDs, and a few items interspersed between. Behind the desk was a tall set of glass shelves on which set various objects, most notable of them was a small glass display containing a medal: The Star Fleet Marine Corps Distinguished Service Cross.

Seated at the desk was a very muscular, blonde haired, human man. His hair was cut in a regulation high and tight style. As the doors opened, he looked up and smiled and then stood up. At almost seven feet tall and with the frame of a Marine, Security officer, or maybe a dockworker more than a ship’s Counselor, he smiled a warm and welcoming smile and said “Hello. I am Lieutenant Commander Sinclair. What can I do for you?” His voice was pleasant, with a pronounced Scottish brogue.

Sinclair, CNS

As the door to his office slid open, Enina pointedly ignored the very large blonde dude and his introduction and question to glance around the room. She moved just inside the doorway and then paused, her blue eyes following an orderly search pattern as she examined the room with an intense curiosity. Her eyes finally settled on the medal on the shelves behind Sinclair and she gave a small “hmph” and shake of her head before finally redirecting her attention to the counselor.

“I’m here for my boarding psychological evaluation. Ensign Enina Nox,” she replied simply. The young woman barely looked old enough to be an adult, much less a Starfleet officer, but despite her young age, she was certainly very comfortable on the ship and even in Sinclair’s office. Her uniform was slightly rumpled and her chin length hair looked as though she had had a good night’s sleep and little time with a hair brush. Her eyes, however, were sharp and focused, especially in contrast to the rest of her disheveled appearance.
