Saatynn walked himself through what he called a ‘waking mental exercise’ as he made his way to the CNS’s office. This one was one of Surak’s teachings, a visualization of what you want to be, and what your goals are. This was one of Linna’s many attempts to get him to follow the ways of logic, but of course he twisted it. He saw four happy Vulcan children expressing their emotions without fear of ridicule, while he and Linna looked on.

He stopped his mental exploration of what might be, when he neared the CNS’s door, ringing the chime.
