Flynn nodded, “No rough stuff, gotcha,” he grinned jumping off the biobed, flipping his hand around and examining it, happy that there would be nothing left to show for his mistake. “And don’t worry doc, I’ll keep my hand out of the Counsellors doors from now on,”

With a wink and a flash of his charming smile the Ensign departed.

“Umm, Ensign, that wasn’t a dismissal,” Boja said sternly. “We’re not done here. Aren’t you forgetting something?”

One foot out the door Fraiser froze, groaned to himself, and then spun around, throwing a cheeky I-had-to-try grin around the room to anyone who was watching. “Sorry sir,” he said, trotting back towards the Doctor, “You know us Ensigns; always too eager to get to work. But I can save you a job, and tell you I’m a clean bill of health now that my hand is fixed.”

“Stand still,” she instructed as the scanning bud did a slow and thorough pass over his body.
