Moriah hummed softly as she looked through the tools on the work bench. It wasn’t often her free time was uninterrupted with something needing to be repaired or recalibrated so it was a rare treat to enjoy one of her personal holo-deck programs.

This program had a building lab or machine shop as it was known in the past. She was finishing up some of the finer details of the rebuilt GT Shelby she had been modifying over the years. The paint was in a shimmering, rainbow, chrome, with Irish clover vines along the left side. The right side had not been embellished as of yet she was still trying to decide what it should be. This old car was her pet project. It ran on modified biofuel cells but it still sounded like a petroleum run engine when it was in use. She used it in the street racing programs that other engineers, pilots, and car enthusiasts, tended to enjoy. Though she preferred letting someone else drive for racing. She stayed on the pit crew to change the tires or fix something if there was a temporary issue. Sometimes the racing programs would randomly select an entry to have issues and they’d let the owner know to be prepared for it. It made the race more engaging and it was fun trying to see what they’d try next.
