That caused a genuine chuckle. Kolar had no personal belief that he was going to win this contest, and if he had to cook it was going to be hasperat. It was a delicacy and notoriously spicy… “If you mess with the bull, you get the horns.” He said after the laugh. They would have no idea he was talking about the meal and not the shooting contest.

Ally lowered her weapon pointing it at the ground as she let out a laugh. The small gesture hinted at her having a certain comfort around weapons that normally only security people possessed. “Okay shush. I’m blonde and need to concentrate.” Her quip at her hair color was just a poke at their personas. She had zero doubts they equated her personality with her blonde beach bunny exterior however Ally had learned a long time ago that friends who relentlessly teased each other had a far stronger friends ship than those who were achingly polite.
Taking a breath and holding it, Ally popped off several shots in succession. She hit a few of the targets shattering them but only clipped one bottle and missed one entirely. It was no where near as exact as Kolar’s were. His had been plucked off the posts one by one in a slow methodical manner. Ally had chosen the three different shooting exercises based on what she felt each one of them would excel at winning. This was never going to be her event but it was a toss up to whether Kolar or Colter were better. Glancing over her shoulder, Ally didn’t directly admit her defeat but uttered one word in a quizzical tone, “Hasperat?”

Kolar watched Ally shoot and was not unimpressed. Most doctors were highly vocal about not liking weapons or shooting them. In general they were staunch pacifists however Ally seemed to have many more layers than what was on the surface. “Yes and you will love it. I will get you that recipe,” he joked back.
He was rather good at this exercise. He was able to cleanly clear the targets with minimal wobbles or bobbles. In fact the flew off the posts much like an old timey western.
From what he understood of the evolving rules of the game, dinner was on the line and someone was cooking it but no one stated clearly it was chef’s choice. Being a non-Bajoran meant Ally might not get it like momma made but Kolar had been in Starfleet too many years to pass up even a mediocre home cooked dinner.
DaVinci nodded and clapped. “Not bad, Ally, not bad at all, but I’ll let you and Kolar work out who’s going to cook. I’m looking forward to it either way.”
He stepped out into the dusty street, and got ready. “Computer, reset targets and give me an identical six-shooter, loaded on my right hip.”
When everything was ready, he stretched and flexed the fingers on both hands, and took a few deep breaths.
A moment later, he drew both pistols and fired three successive shots at the moving targets with his left hand. All three dropped to the ground. Next, raising his right hand, he fired at three of the bottles working from left to right. Each one shattered.
Now, it was showtime. He fired both guns alternately at the targets . . . scarecrow. bottle, scarecrow, bottle, scarecrow . . . and paused. He turned to look and his oppents and smiled. With his head still turned, he fired his last at the last bottle–it shattered like the others, and DaVinci spun both pistols on his index fingers in unison a few times before sliding them back into the holsters.
“Hasperat, huh? I’ve had some. Hot . . . spicy . . .could probably use some B-dubs Blazin’ Knockout sauce, though.”
OOC: Sorry if Davinci stole the show, but he did serve in Earth’s Delta Force, and I got on a roll. If his shooting is too good, I give you both permission to change anything you want (even make him lose . . . ), I can roll with it.

CO/CIO USS SaracenB-Dubs,” Kolar glanced about. “I’m sure that is an impressive recipe.”
“Well hell Colter,” Kolar watched the Captain at work. He aced the bottles on the fence with perfect precision. There was little doubt he won that part of the contest however there was little to no chance he would be winning this moving one. “So since there are three of us and the loser has to make dinner does the second loser have to make dessert,” he joked.Kolar XO

“I’m okay with that added stipulation, Kolar. I like dessert. Especially when someone else makes it.”
“Yeah, B-dubs. Buffalo Wild Wings. It was a wing place back in my time. Chicken wings, not buffalo. Had about 25-30 different sauces. All of them were pretty good, but the Blazin’ Knockout was the hotest.”
Captain Daniel “DaVinci” Colter
CO USS Saracen“Hey,” Ally snapped in a tone pretending she was irritated however the smile on her face stated differently. “I am shooting here.” Ally took her stance and only hit about fifty percent of the moving targets. In fact she was what most people would run from in a fire fight instead of cheering that help arrived. She new she was going to get good natured slack from Colter and Kolar over her shots. She steeled herself for it.
“OH HOLY CHEEZUS,” Colter yelled as he took cover behind a stagecoach parked on the side of the dirt road. “Kolar, take cover!!!”
Once the banter about her hitting a broad side of a barn died down, Ally sent a command to the computer. Now it was only a single target of the scarecrow not moving. Colter definitely won on the moving targets. Kolar had sealed the deal with small exact shooting precision. Now it was Ally’s turn. Taking aim at the scarecrow she fired off a rapid succession of five shots. They did not at first appear to hit the target. That was until Ally recalled the recalled the scarecrow. It moved with the almost comical motions of a target range. Ally lowered her weapon as the scarecrow came closer like a paper target on a hanger. It was only when it was a few feet from them, that the CO and XO saw her skill. The shots were all dead centered on the scarecrows chest. It was a perfect grouping that would have stopped a man cold.

DaVinci came out from his cover and laughed at the last 5 shots Ally had just taken. “Well, that’s a very good grouping, Ally but I don’t think that’ll help in a firefight.”
Raising his voice in his best imitation of Dr. Scott (which wasn’t an easy thing to do considering DaVinci’s normal raspy voice), he said, “Stop, or I’ll shoot,” and then fired 6 empty shots at the scarecrow.
“Internal Affairs would have a field day as you tried to justify that>”
Captain Daniel “DaVinci” Colter
CO USS SaracenAlly could not help but chuckle. “My dad and brother and San Fran cops. They said I would never need to be in a firefight since I was a doctor but they also thought I needed to be able to take care of myself in close quarters fighting. As a doc I know the weak points but head shots are so hard.”

“Well, I’m an Earth Scientist who was raised by priests.” He said truthfully. “And I think its sacrilegious that the two of you weapons specialist would attempt to steal a meal from a poor orphan of the Church.
