Charles-Louis was recalled to Engineering to his station. For now, he was up to a few different tasks. Engineering’s primary task was to make sure senors remained operational for as long as possible, and that no other systems were taking damage. Charles scowled at the display as it showed the particle buildup on the shields. If they lost shields it would be a heavy tactical disadvantage. Simultaneously, he was also monitoring for additional interference or damage to the tactical and targeting systems. He figured it was unlikely but not impossible for the particles to have any effect on these systems as well. That is, as long as the shields held.

Hi Ava, I wanted to take a moment to warmly welcome you. I’m genuinely thrilled about the opportunity to collaborate with you on this thread. While going through the previous posts, I discovered that we are dealing with nadion particles. It appears that the proposed solution involves polarizing the shields in order to induce charge repulsion, either between the particles themselves or between the particles and the shields.
