Breena made the appointment with the new CNS as soon as a schedule was opened up after her arrival. Breena was sure the officer had a lot to do, so she took an appointment a few days out. Never one to avoid such things Breena arrived a few minutes early and took a seat, waiting for the counselor to call her.

By this time Shaleah only had one or two errant boxes to deal with but they could wait until the first appointment of her day was over. Stepping out of her office, she smiled at Breena.

“Hi. Looks like you’re up first. Would you like to come in for coffee and a chat?” she asked.

Brenna stood up with a smile. “I would love to.” She held out her hand, “Lt Cmdr Brenna Atoded.” Brenna was average in height, slender, fit, and long hair pulled back in a braid, and the all black eyes indicative of her Betazoid heritage. “I know you’ve only just arrived, but I hate putting off appointments.”
