Lews looked towards the man that aproached them, then he turned towards the glasses and bottles once he spoke to the CMO as to not be eavesdropping.

She gestured to a stool next to her. “Be my guest. I was just getting to know our charming host, Lews. You’re Master Chief Gordon, aren’t you?” Boja asked. She hadn’t been there when he had had his physical and not everyone on the ship she got to meet.
Lt. Boja, CMO
Gordon nodded. “I am, nice to meet you doctor.” He took a seat next to her, he looked at the bartender. “Can I get an Amaretto and orange juice?” He asked him.
“You two seemed to be involved in an interesting discussion.” He said to the doctor as he got settled.

Lews mixed the drink the man looked familiar to him but Lews hadnt placed a MCPO in memory which meant it was an older memory tickling at his mind. “Anaretto and Orange Chief, and just pointing out the new aspects of the lounge the Doc might enjoy.”

Boja waved the book she held slightly. “And discussing reading material. I suddenly found myself with an excuse to not delve into my medical journals yet again,” she said with a grin, her dark eyes conveying her light mood. She looked around a bit more. “Definitely some serious improvements. Going to take some time to discover them all I should think.” More time meant more visits- she was okay with that.

OOC: I interpreted this as being one or two days after the Saracen has left the starbase where Mark boarded. Let me know if that’s wrong and I can edit it. :)
IC: Mark walked through the doors of the lounge while rubbing his eyes and sighing deeply. He had only recently arrived on the Saracen and he was already exhausted. After multiple days of long travel to rendezvous with the ship, Mark barely had any time at all to rest. He was in Sickbay doing medical evaluations on various crewmembers and learning the ropes of the ship from the nurses. After all that, Mark needed a drink.
As he looked around the room, the doctor immediately realized that the lounge must have been on the list of repairs and renovations performed at the Starbase. It was clearly one of the newest rooms in the ship. Glancing further, Mark noticed the only familiar face in the room. That of his telepathic boss. While he was surprised to find that he enjoyed speaking with he the one other time they had met, Mark didn’t feel right disturbing the conversation she was having with two others. Especially given that he the brand new doctor and an Ensign to boot. He made his way to the opposite end of the bar and leaned forward on it with his elbows flat on top and his palms together, waiting patiently for the bartender.

“Thank you,” He sat down then just looked at the Lews. “Do I know you? I’ve seen you before, but I can’t place it.”

Lews smiled at Gordon, “Maybe in a different lifetime Chief, I get that often” There was something to his statement that said that there was more to it, but not for this moment.
Lews smiled and nodded at Dr. Atlas as he arrived, turning towards the MCPO and Dr. Boja, “Pardon me a moment.” as he seperated from them he was on the otherside of the bar so perhaps he was the Bartender.
The olderman walked down to where Mark was with a smile. “Welcome to the Lounge Doc, what can I do ya in for?” The accent was light but there somewhere in the english coutryside. Lews wondered the man’s tale but that would come in good time he was certain. There was always time to meet, greet and learn.

Mark smiled politely, still leaning on the bar. “How ya doin?” He replied, his deep Tennessee accent contrasting sharply to that of the bartender’s. “I’ll take a whiskey neat if ya got it.” Mark once again rubbed the sleep from his eyes and let out another deep sigh. The young doctor expected his first few weeks on a ship would be grueling. IT was now just a matter of getting through the culture shock.

Lews nodded, “Well Son, would that be Tennesse Whiskey, or the real stuff” he asked with a grin, “Slide on down with the rest of us and I will fix you right up.” Lews nodded towards Doctor Boja and the MCPO. “They don’t bite, well he might.” Lews laughed slightly.
Mark hesitated for a moment. The last thing he wanted to do was intrude on the CMO and the Master Chief’s conversation. Furthermore, his tired state didn’t exactly put him in the mood to chat. However, seeing as there was no other polite options, Mark reluctantly made his way to the other end of the bar. Mark did his absolute best to make it appear as though the recent workload hadn’t fazed him. The young doctor took a deep breath before mustering his best smile and taking a seat next to his CMO. Not wanting to interrupt, Mark remained silent and waited patiently for his drink.
Satreya looked at Mark and smiled warmly. “Good evening, Mark. Glad you joined us. He’s mostly right about the biting.”
Lews extracted a glass from somewhere and looked at the assorted bottles. Reaching for one with a grin. “This will do nicely I think.” Then poured a glass of barell aged Collier and Mckeel. “The Masher Masters Reserve, should be smooth and smoky, warm and sweet.” Settling the glass on the bar, three fingers deep a draught.

“Sounds perfect.” Mark said, as he eyed the glass placed before him. Taking it in his hand, the Tennessean lifted the glass to his lips and took a rather large sip. Setting the glass back on the bar, he let the drink sit in his mouth for a moment before swallowing. Instantly, the taste took him back to days of sitting around a bonfire on a cold autumn night, drinking and singing and having a good time.
“Just the way I like it.” Mark said with a grin.

Gordon took a sip of his drink and looked over at the other bar flies.
“You look tired there Doc, long day?” Gordon asked the young doctor in his deep voice.

Sipping her (presumably) syntheholic wine, Satreya glanced at the first page of her book, but not so much that she would be considered to be too involved to be a part of the conversation.
Lt. Boja, CMO
Gordon, turned his attention back to the bar.
“I was expecting more people here.” He asked Lews, looking around the lounge.

Lews looked at the MCPO, and shrugged. Lews was not certain the entire crew had boarded as of yet, that was not in his purview overall, but he agreed he had expected more people to be about to see the new lounge, if they even knew it had been changed. The Captain, had not seen it yet, neither had most of the rest of the Senior Staff. He was still waiting for the Chief Engineers fit one he figured out that rooms had been not only rearranged but removed in the retrofit of the new lounge.
“Still early in the evening. Most people are getting settled in after their shore leave. More people need a vacation after their vacation, then before they left.” Lews stated with a chuckle.
Glancing at the Doc. “Refill?” then nodding at the MCPO, to see if he needed one as well.

“I’ll take a refill.” Gordon said, finishing off his drink. “But do you have any of the real stuff?” he asked, handing the glass to Lews.
