Dropping the PaDD onto his desk with a clatter then picking up his cup and taking a too long drink, Dante spun in his chair to look out the view port beside his desk. Stars, lots of stars zooming by as they always did. Behind him on the desk was a pile of paperwork, requisition forms, personnel assignments and numerous declined requests from Ensign Kane to turn an entire deck of his Battlecruiser into an underwater reef.

Dante had been cooped up in his office for far too long, and needed to take a break. He was cheating of course, meeting with the Chief of Security was completely work based but he was at least going to stretch his legs. Coming to his feet, the head of the 8 foot long Lizard in the corner on the pet bed lifted and eyed him suspiciously. “Want to go for a walk Bruce?” Dante asked, and had hardly finished the sentence before the large lizard was out of the bed on on his way to Dante’s side.

Sinclair was currently finishing up one of his many models that were scattered around the room. Ships of all sizes and kinds were set here and there, and every model hand made by Royal. His current one was a Constitution-class. But around the room were models of sailing ships, aircraft carriers, submarines, and starships from all over.

Sinclair was seated on the couch with a pair of magnifying goggles perched on his nose as he tried to lay the science station’s viewport into place.
