“I will be sure to tell the folks back home but temporal transportation is not as easy as hopping a shuttle. Heck, we are lucky I am wearing clothes. The first attempt prevented anything non-organic to pass from point A to point B. You think you are a bit surprised now? Try being in that room when I popped in,” Kavia rolled her eyes clearly annoyed with that memory. “Any who…ship, comm systems, clothing,” she ticked off the list of Dante’s supposed requirements for first contact tapping her temple. “Eidetic memory so it will be passed on,” she assured him
“A Comm Signal would have been nice.” The sarcasm was clear to anyone who’s native tongue was Federation Standard a translation device would have a little more difficulty. As far as he was concerned if you could transport a person through space and time you could could make a telephone call.
He looked back to Boja for a moment, his eyes holding an obvious glint of suspicion at what Kavia had told them, then at Teller and Colter and back to Kavia. “Dr Boja is a member of my crew, and as such she does have responsibilities here to weigh.”
“And that is why it is up to her to either do the right thing or hang out here and,” Kavia stopped the end of her sentence short. Kavia was young and idealistic. Everyone told her so. Things were black and white to her but maybe that point of view was not something she should bring up at this time. “She is free to make her own decisions. I promise you that. I will go home either with her or without her but that will be her choice.”
“Mr Colter, why don’t you take our guest from Suu’sianna Prime to the lounge and show her the menu. It would me remiss of us to be a bad host.” The woman had seemed to take a liking to Colter, and if that gave Boja some breathing room, it could only be a good thing. Looking over at Triton, he motioned slightly for her to stand aside and wait a moment.
Captain Knight, CO
“Of course, sir,” DaVinci replied as he began moving toward the door. Nt only did Dante get this, Kavia away from Boja, it also gave him a chance to find more out about her and where SHE had come from in a non-threatening, non-interrogative manner. He would make sure to take a path that would not pass any critical areas of the ship. He also realized that if she could appear on the ship as she did, she was most likely capable of popping in anywhere she wanted to go.
“Lead the way,” Kavia said smiling at the handsome man the captain designated as her escort.
Kavia of Suu’sianna Prime
As he passed Sha, he gave her a slight indication that security should not be too far behind, but not obviously following them either. As they left the conference room, Kavia fell into step beside him as they began sharing small talk. . . .
Colter (CIO)
Teller pursed his lips unhappily. It was too awkward and sudden for him. He smelled a trap. He waited for Kavia and Colton to leave. “It too convenient Sir and where is her tools, comm system, and weapon. At her alleged tech level she could pillage our systems and we wouldn’t even know.”Graham
The security officer stepped to the side of the door and stood with her hands clasped before her. Behind her, she couldn’t respond quick enough, but in front, she had the advantage if things went sideways. While she wasn’t happy about the stranger being led around the ship, it wasn’t her call. At least the way to the lounge didn’t go past any high risk areas. She let her face remain neutral, which, being half Klingon meant she looked upset anyway, and waited for whatever the Captain had stayed her for.

CoSThe voices continued around her but Satreya heard none of it. All she could do at the moment was go over and over everything this woman Kavia has just said. A being that just appeared into being and they were from the same place?! The even harder bit to process was the fact that she should be on edge, she should be terrified of Kavia’s presence. But she wasn’t. So… what did that mean?
“She’s not lying,” Boja said softly at last. Her ebony eyes were focused on the still stars out the window. “I’d know if she were. She speaks the truth, at least as she knows it.” Her voice sounded hollow to her.
Lt. Boja, CMO
“You’re not telepathic, and even if you were, that would mean she was as well. With more practice and education than you had.” He turned to the Captain. “I suggest we play it the same way we would play any other situation where some just pop on our ship knowing more about us then we do about them.”
Graham
Satreya furrowed her ridged forehead. “Not telepathic? Given I have a hard some shielding all thoughts out, that’s news to me,” she said dryly. “I’m also psychokinetic as well, remember? If I am, who knows what this Kavia is.” She rose to her feet and began to pace slightly, her mind focused on what they had learned and how any of it might be applicable to herself.
Sha listened to the banter. She was of two mindsets, and those warred within her. One was to take the ‘interloper’ someplace more secure and interrogate her. But as those around her talked, she had the feeling that several questions had already been answered. The answers, though, were still something to make them wonder, as well. The other idea was to simply ask them to leave. The question in her mind was, if the person just ‘materialized’ here, then if asked to leave, what would happen ‘then’? Would more just arrive to cause a more troublesome situation? Or would more nefarious things transpire because of the confrontation?
She didn’t like not knowing what was going on. As security, she knew she wasn’t going to be privy to everything that had been discussed in the room, but she should know ‘something’. As there was a pause after Graham’s comment, she took a step from the shadows near the door. Her voice, raised to be heard by everyone, but not to be considered rude. “So who is that and how in all the Homeworlds did she get in here?” She then glanced at the unusually quiet Satreya, “And why is she here?” Her gaze at the young woman was one of compassion and understanding. Something was happening and she had missed it. But whatever it was, this was still a very high security situation.
Glancing back at the others, she raised a curious eyebrow. “Should I be gathering other security to escort or keep an eye on our.... guest?” She was loathe to call the visitor anything else without someone else giving a different title to her.

CoS“Whatever her motivations, at the least she is unknown to us and a ‘guest’ who is not native to our universe. Unexpected reactions are possible, if not likely. Some sort of precaution, medical, if not security based should be implemented.”

Boja exhaled and looked at Rha-Triton. “You know how in the meeting I mentioned that people from my home Universe were possibly looking for me? That we had detected another quantum signature that matches my own? Well, that woman is that signature most likely and she just materialized on the ship.” The doctor shifted her attention to the captain. “My guess is that she is some sort of Humanoid shapeshifter and that most of her people are as well. But that doesn’t explain me, if we decide to beleive her about… well, her and I being from the same place.”
Boja sighed and leaned against a wall and closed her eyes. “Suu’sianna Prime… it feels like I should know what that means, but I just don’t. I wish I did though.”
Lt. Boja, CMO
Sha had been listening and, seeing the Doc feeling lost, she took a step forward. “Lieutenant, I don’t know what kind of time we have. But if you want, there is a Klingon memory recall meditation I am willing to help you with. Perhaps it would shed some light on what you are repressing or unable to recall. I can’t make a guarantee, but I can tell you it may help you unblock some memories you are repressing.” Her voice was strong and certain, but her eyes kept glancing to the others in the room expecting someone to tell her to stand down, or to just leave completely.

Satreya shook her head. “It’s not that I don’t believe it doesn’t work, but I can guarantee that it won’t make a difference in this case. I’ve been trying most of my adult life to figure out what was behind that mental wall, and with the help of some very talented individuals. I’ve known it was something and I suspected it was something important. But many people have tried to help me to no avail. A significant… personal event involving a Vulcan mindmeld put a crack in that wall, but I haven’t got enough from that to do more than confuse me. If Kavia has the ability to unlock that part of my mind, I want to try. Like I said, I believe her.”
