Lt. Cmdr Shrant sat in the back of the transport shuttle. Reviewing the mission logs since he was last on the USS. Saracen. It had been 3 years since he was last here. So much had happened since he last had the honor to serve on the Saracen. The Advanced Operations Officer Academy had been an amazing experience to be able to enjoy. Teaching operations at the Basic academy had been an honor. But Shrant was ready to get back into real operations. Doing what he truly loved.

The Young Ensign piloting the shuttle Spoke up, “Commander, Sir the Saracen is in view now” Shrant moved forward looking at the beautiful vessel. Every line was familiar to him. It seemed like it was home to Shrant. Shrant Tapped the communications Console =/\= Shuttle to USS. Saracen, This is Lt. Commander Shrant, requesting permission to beam aboard =/\=

Shrant waited for the response ready to get back on board the ship.

Whether he remembered her personally or not, being in charge of Operations, Shrant would likely be at least aware of one of the Saracen’s more unusual residents. The comms console shifted, and in in a corner display, a woman with long raven hair and electric blue eyes gazed back. “Commander Shrant, you are cleared for boarding. Transporter Two awaits you,” she said in a clear and pleasant voice before her image winked out and left behind dark screen.

Shrant remembered the intelligence that was in the ships computers. “Ensign, will you please ensure that my personal effects are sent over?” The ensign acknowledged Shrant as he stepped onto the single transporter pad on the shuttle. “Energize”, As the transporter began to hum Shrant thoughts strayed, such a simple command for such a complex process.

As Shrant rematerialized on board the Saracen he could begin to make out the ship, as soon as he was fully materialized he could see what appeared to be new carpeting in the transporter room. A young crewman stood at the controls of the transporter, “Commander welcome aboard the USS. Saracen, This is deck…” Shrant held up his hand silencing the crewman, “thank you crewman, but I served on this vessel for several years and I know where I am.” Shrant moved directly to the doorway and headed for a turbo lift. “Deck 1” The turbo lift moved swiftly. Shrant walked down the hallway to the Captains ready room and rang the bell....
