Stepping out of the docking tube from the Saracen, Dante looked around the large station that housed the command functions and personnel of the Meridian Fleet. He wasn’t in uniform, instead was wearing his casuals of dark blue jeans and black shoes, and a high necked chocolate brown jacket worn open over a darker blue long sleeved but lightweight top. Heading into the Starbase he had one particular purpose here today and he had set aside some time specifically for this.Walking straight to one of the stations wall consoles, he entered his authorization and asked the computer what he needed. =/\=Computer, locate Commander Vienne Aullar =/\=

Vienne, it turned out, was close by. The nearest bar was a quick lift up and a five minute walk.
It wasn’t a large establishment, nor one to put on airs– dimmed lights, well worn tables, and only half as loud. This close to the docks it was the tired after-shift worker that frequented inside. It wasn’t the typical atmosphere Vienne preferred, being the shortest Point B had only served at a bonus. The bar shared the outer bulkhead of the station and large windows decorated its longer side. The view from the booth she had taken offered an endless starfield.
Aullar
It didn’t take Dante long to find the place, nor, even in the low light, too long to find Aullar at the booth. He took a short look around the place from the doorway before moving inside, and helped himself to the seat opposite from Vi at her booth without asking if he could sit. With the view offered, and what the Orion had been through on Earth stuck in the 21st Century, the normal courtesy seemed quaint to him just then, especially as the bar she had chosen seemed to be not too dissimilar to the ones from Earth in that time period. Nodding to a waitress for a drink, he looked at Vi with a small smile for a moment.
“How are you finding being back?” he asked her, “You do look better without all the makeup. I hope you put your affairs in order over the last few days?”

Vi’s eyes slid toward him with a slow moment before she turned her head to follow. The table had two and a half empty glasses already, though she seemed no worse for wear from it. Her gaze remained as sharp as ever.
“The alcohol is better. Terrans,” she scoffed without true disdain, “and their perpetual addition of more hops.” She flicked a few dismissive fingers around the one in her hand. “If things are not in order, then they will be. Ask my sister for the specs.”
