She nodded. “Well then, I think that’s a plan. And now that we have one, we can put it to the side and enjoy our evening,” Cori said, reaching out and running a hand along his arm. “We are, after all, on a date.”

“You have always been so adorable.” he said as he smiled softly. “Yes, where do you want to start? I am all yours hon, there is the holodeck with the ballet, or anything your heart desires.” he said, just finding time to be with her was hard and he wanted things to feel right.

“Hey, you were planning this shindig, weren’t you? You told me when and where, after all,” Cori teased. “You hungry? We could go to the holodeck and you can eat and I can pretend I remember what tasting things is like.”

“Honestly, half the plan was just to get you here… the rest I was kind of hoping would just fall into place…” Jarred said with a smirk. He didn’t really know what he wanted, he felt content in this moment but part of him felt his mind wander on the whole goal. Making Cori immortal in a sense with this new body, the more he thought on this the more he wondered what that meant for him. His life had been awash in who he was with at all times, so what did that mean for someone like her. He wasn’t sure where his path even was even more, or if he was going down the right one.
