Purola nodded “Alright let’s get going then” She nodded to the transporter chief as she put on the mask and gathered her medical supplies with one last glance at the dead Uhlan.

Drunis thought going back was foolish, but held his tongue. “Commander. I would suggest a preparatory step before deploying back to the surface. Modifications to disrupto rifles can be made to increase temperatures in a target. We can modify the focusing lens to allow for a wide beam and burn away any vegetation that poses an issue.”

Saeihr observed the unfolding discussion with a calculating gaze. As her comrades debated the best course of action, her mind spinned with possibilities. The engineer within her saw challenges and opportunities in the situation, and her analytical skills were already at work.

“The modification to disruptor rifles suggested by Lieutenant Commander Drunis could indeed be advantageous,” she said, “A controlled burn would clear our path and minimize the risk of encountering those hazardous plants again. But we need to ensure that the modifications don’t compromise the weapon’s primary functionality.”
