As the scans started, Ric coughed and squirmed. Opening his eyes, he looked around. . . “What the hell? How’d I get to Sickbay?”

He then saw Xandra lying nearby. “Careful, Lt. Primage is under some kind of mind control.” He reached up and touched the bruises on his neck when she had choked him.

“It’s that Mrs. Pitch. Or her kid, or the both of them. The kid touched Xandra and then she attacked me. I didn’t let the kid touch me and was in control of myself until she gassed the both of us. We’ve got to stop them. They’re the reason everyone is going catatonic. . . .!!”

Ricochet (CAG)

Mirri listened to what Ric had to say. She was still not sure exactly what had transpired on the Olinski while she had been on the Sierra, but she felt like she needed to be on the Bridge at her station, rather than sitting here in Sickbay twiddling her thumbs.

Helm

Xandra moaned slightly and started to wake up. “Riiiccc….” she murmured full of concern and fear.

=^=Sickbay to Bridge this is Doolittle. The mother and child we brought on board may be the catalyst for all of this. We need to detain them and bring them to the Sickbay or even Security holding.=^=

Doolittle acted quickly on what Ric had said.

Doolittle

=^=I am in route to the Security Brig. Have them brought there and we will use the EMH to examine them again. It cannot be controlled.=^=

Doolittle waved to Michaels to come with him as he headed to Security.

“Something tells me this could have been avoided if we just listened in on their conversations..” Michaels stated as they left Sickbay. The Counselor, being out of his depth, was curious to see how they would stop them or if they even could.

CNS

Xandra reached up tp rub her head where it had stuck the ground when she had passed out. “Ric!”

Remembering what had happened she sat tried to sit up too quickly, looking around for the CAG, who was also her companion.

As she did so, the room spun and she had to close her eyes. Her hands, thrown out to balance her, had expected to touch the carpet of the quarters she had been in last. Finding herself on a biobed, she tended up and gripped it for fear life to keep from toppling.

A female nurse quickly came to the bed.

“Easy dear. You have taken a fall and more. I have too many patients right now so mind yourself by laying back in this bed and relaxing.” She said in a motherly tone and then off she went to the next patient.

Nurse Kitty

Xandra did as she was told. Her head, and stomach, fighting against her mind to get up and find out what had occurred. When she opened her eyes a few moments later, she looked around for the CAG. “Ric?” She remembered a look, in his eyes… pain. Someone had hurt him. Her heart began to pick up its pace as she wondered if he was all right.

Mirri stood back and just watched. She was far more comfortable in the pilot’s chair or on the Bridge, this was a waiting game that she didn’t like. But she didn’t dare leave in case she had brought a contaminant aboard from the Sierra.

Helm

Ric moved off the bed and over to Xandra. He reached for a grabbed her hand. “Xandra, I’m right here. I’m okay.” His voice was a bit rough as he spoke.

He brushed her hair back to look at the bump on hr head from the fall. Thank God you’re back to yourself!! How do you feel??”
