Hi All,

As of today I am resigning from my post on the Olinski. It has been a pleasure writing with all of you over the past few years, but I think I need to step back for a bit.

I’d like to hold onto my character in case something changes. Perhaps he can be RPed off the ship as a simple transfer to another vessel? He didn’t really do much during this sim, so he is probably easily replaceable with any other generic security NPC.

Well John I would be lying if I did not tell you that I am sad to hear the news. Of course I support when a player needs to step back. However you have really done great with the character even though it was a pain every time I had to spell the name;) I hate to see you go. Of course we can say he took a leave or something. I mean I don’t think you know how well you played this character and I would really love if you did come back one day. As for any other words I leave those to the Acting Captain in IC and OOC. I also leave him the work to do the roster change, replacement work etc…Joys of the job. Thanks John for your time here.

Goodbye John, and thanks for the Memories. You put up with my plodding holodeck thread longer than anyone, and that’s a feat that few can copy! I was thinking that your character could have been chosen by Starfleet Intelligence to go on a secret mission, to hunt a terrorist or something like that. It would explain his abrupt absence but would be cooler than a simple transfer. You’ve been a good friend and we hate to lose you. It’s been an honor and privilege serving with you.
