“Dear Passengers, we are experiencing some problems with our stabilisers. Please return to your cabins and we will proceed to initiate landing procedures on a planet nearby to finish the repairs of the said stabilisers. It would delay our arrival but it would be fatal if we did not do these repairs.”

That was the message that was broadcast on board the USS Sierra, a Monolith class transport who was moving 76 passengers.

The landing was not so difficult but the passengers were not happy with this development in their journey.

The transport informed Starbase 214 of their situation and told them that the ship would be delayed by a few hours for them to do repairs.

Two hours later, the USS Sierra called in to say that they were done and on their way to their destination. That was the last they heard from the transport. A sensor search revealed that they were still on that planet in the Beloti system.

Starfleet noted that the USS Brian Olinski, who had done a marvellous job with the USS Dragoon rescue, decided that the Olinski would be the perfect ship for this search and rescue.

As he boarded his shuttle to go and defend his former shipmate the CO saw the latest orders for the Olinski. He thought to himself that it was a good mission for Harn and the crew to take on. They had the experience and the understanding similar was not the same. As the shuttle took off the Captain was apprehensive but confident in his ship and crew and its aCO.
