We want data on who these people are more than anything so we know how to proceed. Right now they might be Iconian or some natives. Either way any semblance of violating the Prime Directive is a non issue. Someone else did that a long time ago if even. Michael gave a mock salute. “So close to history. Computers and oxygen. That’s all she wrote.” He stood, silent for a moment. “DAMNIT!” he turned and went back to the computer console. Just to make sure they’d keep breathing and he could give Balfor complete access.

OOC: Hint … is there a way to replenish the iconian ship’s fusion generators’ fuel supply? Then you could keep the generators going for a longer time …?

As if struck from above with an idea, Michael searched for additional fuel for the fusion generators. “Five hours doesn’t make sense as your only backup.”

The Starfleet batteries could easily be used to supplement the power and one battery would be able to extend power by three hours.

=/\=Now you’re talking about mixing and matching systems. It’s possible, but there’s likely a lot of rigging involved. A battery buys us three hours. Enough time to restart main power. Not all systems, just the main power core. Computers, life support, and base electricity would default to using that. The ship itself stays mostly as it is, but we’re not on a constant deadline.=/\= Michael checked if dilithium would be a compatible substitute for the unknown substance they had been using.
