Once everyone was aboard, Xandra cleared their departure and let the Olinski. Despite the fact no one asked, she spoke aloud as each maneuver was made, each button pushed and every toggle was flipped. She was giving her thought process and subsequent choices verbally as if it was the final interview at the Academy.
Everything she did was by the book. She fell silent, finally, as they coasted to the planet and a prearranged landing site far enough away from the rescue parties to interfere.
Xandra
PilotDoolittlle watched Primage closely. Up to this point she looked fine.

From the co-pilot’s seat, Ric listened intently to each of Xandra’s comments while watching her hands move over the console. He wanted to make sure everything she did matched perfectly with her responses.
“You’re doing fine, Xandra. Feeling good,” the CAG asked?
Ricochet (CAG)
Doolittle snickered under his breath. Everyone wanted to be a lawn chair psychiatrist. Let the expert do the watching and coaching.

((Ooc… Talked to gm… He had no plans for her to be harmed so up to the CNS))Xandra smiled and nodded to Ric. “I’m fine. I don’t feel the fuzziness I did last trip. Maybe before, it was just too soon after the scramble that time.”
She heard the chuckle behind her and smiled shaking her head. She had no idea what the laugh was for, but she was grateful for a laugh versus a criticism. She silently felt a moment of relief. She wasn’t sure what was going to happen on the surface, but she knew that staying on the ship want going to answer any of those questions. “To be honest,” she nodded over her shoulder to the others, “to everyone here, I feel fine. Whatever happened before isn’t happening now,” she couldn’t clear herself, but she hoped it meant they could go back to the ship and Ric would lift her exile from flying.
Xandra
Pilot‘Lt. I am happy your feeling better. However I need to tell you that many times a person tells themselves that and even convinces themselves of that. Then when something happens the reaction to that something, like a recurrence, is double as bad. Just keep that in mind.” Doolittle cautioned.
Doolittle
Xandra nodded. “I appreciate what you are saying. But last time, merely being in close proximity, then on the surface of the planet, made it evident my mind couldn’t make the calculations for the craft I was in, much less give details ahead of time as to what I was doing and why. For whatever reason, the ‘residue’ or affects, or whatever you wish to call it, have stopped either because of my longer time away from the surface, or the fact the emitters are no longer firing.” She glanced at Ric, then back to the others. “I would never put my CAG, or anyone else, senior officer to lowly cadet, in jeopardy. If I thought for a moment that I was a risk to anyone, I would curl up in my room and await as many medical and psych appointments as I thought necessary to make sure I was not a hindrance to this ship, or anyone else, for that matter.”
She wasn’t upset, oddly enough, if Ric took any notice. This time, despite being confronted, she was trying to say she was all right without being obstinate about it.
Xandra
Pilot?Ric grinned as she looked over in his direction. He didn’t say anything, but would expect no less from one of his squad leaders, let alone his lover. Xandra was a team player to the Nth degree, not a show-off like some pilots had a reputation for.
“you’re doing fine, Lt., but I want to try something. I’ve punched in the coordinates of where we were before, when you got the Ranger and shuttles mixed up. Set us down in that same clearing and let’s see if there’s any reaction this time.”
Ricochet (CAG)
Xandra smiled and nodded to the others in the ship. “Yes, sir.”
Lift off and landings were clean and smooth. Her running verbal account of actions, reactions and reasons were spot on. Landing in the previous clearing didn’t distract from that accuracy at all.
((Moving this along a bit… Feel free to erase this ooc and put in a response if you prefer))
She fired back answers to Ric’s questions with the practice and ease of a veteran pilot with no wrong answers. After nearly fifteen minutes she smiled and took a look at each in turn. “Well, I’m no professional, but with no headache, vision issue or memory stutters, I’d like to say my previous delirium was localized to the moment on the surface with the lingering field from the generators.”
She hoped to be cleared for duty, but would certainly understand if Ric or the other were still hesitant.
Xandra
PilotDoolittle could see she was able to handle herself and he was not adverse to letting her continue with the mission. However she thought she was going to get completely cleared of having to attend some appointment sessions she was very wrong. The way she reacted to the whole event was more telling to him than her being able to be a pilot on duty. There was more going on and deeper that he needed to explore.
Doolittle
Ric grew more and more confident that Xandra was back to normal and said so. “From what I can see, everything is normal, Sehlat. Technically, manually, everything’s by the book. I’m good to clear you.” He turned to look at Doolittle and asked, “She good to get back in the saddle from where you’re sitting?”
