=^=Thank you Gould; standby for further instructions,=^= Jason nodded. He glanced over at the young officer manning comms. “Mister Koizumi, create a link with all of the combadges of all of Dragoon’s people down on the planet. Sending only, the Dragoon’s computer can keep track of how many acknowledge. I want to make an announcement, and let everyone down there know they are about to be rescued.” He glanced at the information coming to him on the screen of on the arm of his chair. “Let the transporter room hear my announcement as well. I want Gould on the same page as the rest of us.”

Aye sir,” the young ensign nodded. “Channel is open.”

=^=Attention all hands, this is Commander Jason Harn of the USS Brain A. Olinski speaking. We have recovered the Dragoon and at this very moment are locking onto your combadges in order to facilitate a speedy rescue. You are ordered to break any contact you have with the natives and signal that Dragoon when you have done so by tapping your combadge. The Dragoon’s computer will register who has done so and who hasn’t. Make sure that Prime Directive safeguards are in place. We don’t want the natives to panic when they see people disappear in a flash of light right before their eyes. Harn out.=^=

He drew his fingers across his throat in order to signal that he wished to end the transmission. Ensign Koizumi nodded and tapped a button on his console. Jason then pressed a button on the arm of his chair.

=^=Did you get that Mister Gould?=^= he asked the chief engineer in the transporter room. =^=Make a list of the Dragoon’s crewmembers so you can keep track of which ones are ready to beam up. Beam up the Dragoon’s transporters first; they can man the other transporter rooms and free you up for other duties. =^=

=^=Thank you, Gould. Harn out.=^= he acknowledged before fiddling with the controls on his arm rests. Soon a window opened in the top left hand corner of the main view screen to display a crew list of the Dragoon with the names of those aboard highlighted. He was about to get up and head to the transporter room but hesitated. Until the Dragoon’s officers and crew could be recovered they were operating with a skeleton crew. In such circumstances, his place was on the bridge. In any case he had no doubt that the highest ranking officers recovered would soon be paying him a visit.
