Steve was in engineering fine tuning the shields and weapons once he found out that it was the Jen Hadar that attacked them.

Ensign Knowitall came up to the new CE.

“Sir with the size and power of a Jem Ha’dar warship should we not concentrate on shielding and reinforcing the warp core from destabilization?” He asked/stated.

IC: Oh. Hello Ensign Knowitall. To be honest, I don’t know. I’ve not much history with the Jem Ha’dar. I am not above myself to ask for assistance. We are all a team. So, what do you know about them and why did you suggest reinforcing the warp core for destabilization?”

Knowitall smiled. He liked the fact that the new CE was willing to bring him into the thinking process.

“The Jem Ha’dar had or have heavy beam weapons coming from the fact the ships don’t concentrate on comforts or science labs etc. All power and available space is dedicated to the power of its weapons systems. So a targeted blast to say Engineering would not take long to break through our shielding.”

Knowitall

“Wise and clever on both their parts and yours for knowing. Then that shall be done. Mind helping me fix this while I call the Captain?”
