As Gibbs finally got to his next patient of the list, he noticed that Commander Primage was having stress about the death of the crew members. He thought that it was imperative to talk to the commander about it as well.

=^= CAG when you have the chance to if I’m not disturbing you. I’d like to talk about the death of the crew members that was on board. That is if you have time to do so. =^=. He said.

Xandra looked up from her desk as the comm came over the speaker. “I really don’t have time, Sir. With all due respect, I think there are better things I can do with my time than discuss losses at this moment.” She ducked her head back down to the roster she was going over. With Ric gone, she was feeling the losses more keenly than most. She had not just lost crew members and pilot comrades. She had also lost the love of her life and a piece of herself. Sitting down with some pencil pusher to discuss her feelings was certainly not on her list of things to do this evening.

She took a shuddered breath and tried, for the third time, to focus on the list of names before her.

“Understood. It’s just when and if you do have time for it please feel free to come to my office and we can talk about it.” He said to her.

Xandra tried not to let her smile enter her voice. “Understood,” she parroted back, “No need to hold an appointment spot, Sir. I doubt it will happen anytime soon.” She then clicked off the comm. She had no intention of sitting on some couch in an office regurgitating her heart out. Her pain was for her to deal with, not some Counselor who thought they could tell her how she should feel.

A moment later she just hoped he didn’t report her to the Captain. Grief Counseling after events like this were common and usually required. Something told her she hadn’t gotten off as easily as she thought.
