Sid took a seat and waited for his senior officers to arrive.

A few minutes later, NE Lennon from Engineering appeared. Oh god. I’m the first to arrive. “Sir. I, um, Lt Gould sent me from engineering. He’s working on a long range control of the Dragoon. It’s precise work. Best left to experienced hands.” Nice save, genius. “He gave me a shorthand summary of what went on with Engineering details.” He held up the PaDD.

Kolar entered glancing at the Captain, “Sir.” Then to the out of place ensign. “Is Mr. Gould unable to join us?”

“I thought he was just going to be late,” Jason said as he followed the Bajoran into the room. “Apparently he doesn’t know what ‘mandatory meeting’ means,” he added with uncharacteristic irritation.
