USS Odin
CSO’s office - Tour
Ari was happy to have done the counselor check and it was time to follow what his XO suggested: make a tour of the places he would have had worked with. He started with the generic labs - a bit empty, but surely there, he would have done several crazy stuff and experiments in the future that only Einstein could imagine. Then He visited the Astrometrics and Planetary labs, being illuminated by the grandiosity and the advancements that technology made in these last years. Just thinking that all these labs were under control of his authority, made Ari pretty much satisfied and happy of his position.
At last but not least, the Exobiology lab was one of the proudness in the Starfleet laboratories as the Odin had the most complex and complete utensils and tools kit to make all kind of research. Some local greenhouse were even present and made everything a bit greener - a cage for bigger beasts for temporary holding was hiding in the rear of the greenhouse from the discrete eyes of everyone who was an animal fan.
“Well, I visited them all. To be honest I expected more personnel.” He talked alone while walking in the aisle “what now?” He tapped his lips with his index finger “ah ah! My office, Of course.”
And there we go, some turns, some doors, and right away next to Lab 1 (generic) there was his office, shiny and pretty much unopened since the last CSO stepped in. Ari thought that it would have been not a funny tour of his office without taking his stuff and so he rushed as always to take the box with the writing “OFFICE STUFF” he had prepared when he was still ensign. Returning back with the olde box, he pressed the button and almost faded out as he entered the dream of his life “Oh. I expected it a bit larger” he commented, giggling, as he noted that it was a bit smaller than the average “well! It is still an office” and said so he took everything out from the box:
A pair of trophies, won at some important science convention, some classic Fountain Pens, Mont Blanc trademarked and paper, his lovely “#1 science is the best” mug and of course, his sacred PaDD holder. Who didn’t had one?
He even added some of his favorite paintings, which one was made by his mother before her illness.
“Now is all set. And my prize is… a tea Of course.”
Relax, some time alone, a tea and his office - what he wanted more? It was all he needed.
