USS Odin
Arrival - Transporter room
A white blueish ray, the feeling of the transporter and the molecules being disassembled, the experience of a man, whose carrier was fulfilled with emotions - were now all carried by that particle beam and transferred onboard the ship, that would have been his home for the years to come. But with the only change, that he was now Chief Science Officer and could manage finally his own department.
This was the story of Ari, that really started on this day stepping down the pad with his suitcase and the PaDD on his other hand. After being beamed in the refined cleaned air of the room he could finally breath free and without any clogging - on his journey to get on the Odin, a Cargo ship offered him a way to get onboard, even tho paying the uncomfortable spaces and dirty air of the quarters.
“A new life, for a new man” he said by himself, almost whispering. In front of him a woman welcomed him almost as they knew since a lot of time. Indeed they did.
“Luna! My dear!” Exclaimed Ari with a huge smile and running toward the woman, hugging her and giving a sweet kiss. Luna was serving on the Odin since a long time - she was a british originated girl, born and lived at Southampton, nice location; then transferred on Mars Colony 2. She had natural white hairs (a rare condition) and black eyes, and was a lovely girlfriend, the one perfectly matched with Ari.
“Welcome! Oh my how I missed you honey.” The Ensign replied to the man “how was the journey”
“Shaky and uncomfortable. But let’s not talk about the past uh?”
As they talked along for a while, a bit of their business, a bit about the life they were conducting in Starfleet it was finally to go and take his stuff in his quarters.
“I’ll go Luna.” He said, with a bit of a melancholic feeling.
“I’ll see you this evening, right?” She asked. He nodded as to say yes and before leaving, he kissed again his fiancé
“This evening, I’ll make a dinner cooked by hand and make you feel the luckiest woman on this Universe.” Ari then left the room, while Luna, stuck with an embarrassing blush on her face, returned at work with all her thought mixed of various feelings.
What a great day!
