The attempt to isolate nanites from the tetrahedral ship was successful as was the attempt to transport them. The nanites were transported into a containment field that was keeping them in stasis.

The CSO came back to the Odin and immediately running diagnostics on the nanites and then cross-referencing all data with known Borg technology.
