Kirshara entered duty on a normal day. There was not much going on but the ship’s normal duty. After assuming the duty station (for the night shift), Kirshara started reviewing the information from the day shift. All looked well. Looking over at the officer of the deck Kirshara reported, “All systems normal at the science station, sir.”
