The Odin was 20 minutes away from Tammaron and scans were made. While there were life signs on the planet, production activities seemed to have ceased for most of the planet, definitely not enough to show export numbers.

The Tammoron governor hailed the Odin at this time.

=/\=Sir the Tammoron governor is hailing us. Channel is open on your mark =/\= the comms officer stated.

NE Comms officer

“Open channel,” Mason ordered, then leaned back in the chair to see what the governor had to say.

=/\= Tammoron, this is the Federation Starship Odin. How may we be of assistance? =/\=

“Thank you, Odin, for coming to Tammoron to offer aid. Please tell me how we can assist you in your mission,” said the governor.

Looking at the Captain now that the Governor was on the screen, Mason waited for him to take over. Placing his knuckles under his chin, thumb extended towards his neck, he settled in to listen and try and look intelligent.

The facial expression of the governor was calm but his eyes did not seem to be looking at the display but somewhere beyond. The eyes did not say that he was calm at all.

Kate noted that the production of the planet was akin to life in the 1950s. No activity anywhere. It was as if everything had shut down for the day. Running her sensors, she brought up several of the largest tracts of Tammorron grain fields and enlarged the visuals checking to see what was going on there. The weather in these areas showed it was a perfect day for farming and farming was not like other industries. When the weather was bad no work was done. When the weather was good, it was activity everywhere. If the weather was good and nothing was happening the question was why. Blowing up several images she tried to see if there was anything going on with the large corporation fields vs. the smaller family fields.
