A couple of hours had passed since Mwezi and Bridie had come into sickbay, and Mwezi was slowly drifting out of his sedative-induced sleep. His back hurt. His head hurt. But mostly his back hurt. He tried to lift his head and look around, but he was pretty groggy still.
