IC: Chief Petty Officer Warren sat at his console with anticipation of his shift ending as the last batch of crew member transfers prepared to beam over. When he finally got confirmation that they were ready for beaming, he sighed in relief as he pulled the digital levers. Greeting the new transfers, he relayed the requirement of the completion of a boarding medical exam by ship’s personnel…

OOC: now for the other side of things

IC: Kirstie stood patiently as she waited for her boarding group to arrive at the Starbase’s transporter room. As the other crew arrived, she pondered what her first experience on a Kurtzman class would bring. She had always felt out of place at both her home on Vulcan and that of Earth, as her pointed ears gave her trouble fitting in on Earth, while her emotions did the same on Vulcan. She took comfort knowing that the unknown was as interesting to her fellow officers as it was to her.

Once they all had arrived, they all beamed over, anticipating the great unknowns that awaited them onboard the Chernov…

They were greeted onboard by an officer, who directed them to head to complete their physicals and prepare for their first duty shifts.

Kirstie hightailed it to the turbolift, where she headed directly to sickbay. Once there, she walked to the first medical officer that she saw who didn’t look to be busy, asking, “I am Ensign Wiseman. I was told to report to sickbay for a medical inspection?

OOC: Just an fyi the chernov is not a constitution class its a kurtzman class battlecruiser https://www.star-fleet.com/library/bookshelf/tm/kurtzman.html big difference in feel and profile :) common mistake given we’re using the connie on the motd tsk tsk :P

Crelle looked up from the padd in her hands to regard the officer, giving a small smile in welcome.

“Ahh yes. Please, make your way to exam bed one and we can begin the examination process. I will meet with you shortly.”

Crelle moved elegantly and with purpose through the medical bay, gathering technology needed for the examination before making her way into the area for bed one.
