Kane swore loudly at the command exchange and the rushing figure. As the arrow flew, Kane grabbed his recorder and simply began scanning the creature before they (hopefully) transported to safety.

Scans of the creatures were....mostly…complete by the time the below actions commenced.

Blaze was keeping his eyes on the werewolf’s arrow at the ready will let it fly if need to.

The three werewolves were now about 20ft from the group, hulking and deadly looking they were quite the fearsome sight. What might be the ‘alpha’ of the trio growled low crouching in a readying posture to study and likely pounce upon one of the away team. The 2nd of the three to the left dashed quickly in that direction flanking the away team and made a charging beam line for Blaze a talon clawed hand striking for his chest. When Blaze’s readied arrow let loose though it did nothing to harm the creature simply sticking into its shoulder which the beast just paused in its charge to shrug off before growling again to resume its attempted attack!

The third one meanwhile dashed to the right flanking in the opposite direction and coming fast in for an attack on the XO, snarling and bearing its fangs this smallest of the three seemed intent upon tackling the XO for a pinning maneuver. If they were going to transport out now would be the time....

Then no sooner had the thought entered their minds about beaming out when the transporter beam engulfed them taking them all safely away from harm seconds before the werewolves could fully connect with their intended targets. They soon returned to consciousness in the transporter room of the Chernov minus the werewolves.

“Everyone resume your stations. I want to know why the hell those things didn’t show up on sensor sweeps before we landed.” David started for the door. “Kane, you got some data on them? Come with us to the bridge. Science needs to run an analysis on it. You were a combat medic, right? Did you see anything of use? Weak points?”

Kane looked at the XO and said “Nope, never a combat medic. Paramedic-slash - Search and Rescue. You want a tactical analysis, leave it to the folks who fight for a living. As for the rest, I tried to scan them, we can see what the tricorder came up with.” and he simply started walking to the turbolift.

Blaze started to feel light headed and looked down he was slash in his chest “ no this is going to ruin my whole day” he said then he Fell to the floor due to lost of blood.

OOC: Blaze please reread the post I made regarding the attack, you didnt get hit, your arrow disrupted its initial attack and then the transporter whisked you to safety before its second attacked connected, please edit your above post thank you.

Blaze was starting to feel light headed he really hate the transporters if people really knew what it did anyone would dislike it. “ Let me see the scans of the werewolf maybe I can come up with some precautions in case if we encounter them again“

“I hadn’t gotten a chance to scan them before we were beamed up.” William said calmly “I suggest transporting back near the shuttlecraft, this time travelling with weapons at the ready” He said calmly “Whatever scan data we have can be used to find a weakness in those creatures. However a visual once over I think it’s safe to assume they have the durability of something similar to a brown bear, setting phasers to maximum stun may be the best course of action.” He recommended.

“I will like to spend some time in my engineering lab maybe I can come up with some devices that will help” he said stepping off the pad. “Maybe some tools that were used by ancient werewolf hunters”

“Lets see what the scans I ran say. Blaze, I’ll send the results down to Engineering once we’ve compiled them.” and he simply walked out the door and took the turbolift to the bridge.
