Their new alien allies looked to their leader who looked to Will when he spoke, once the Starfleet crew got into position without any better means to communicate the aliens assembled in a triangle formation around the Starfleet crew. The growls from inside the large arena like room ahead came again with more urgent chirping like sounds or were they hand claps now? It was hard to tell. Something then swooped by the entrance with pink/purple like skin tones chased by one of the large toothy beasts they had encountered before in their initial escape. Evidently maybe there was a third group of aliens in this mess of testing?

Their alien allies chittered at the sight their leader grinning broadly as if sharing a private enjoyable jest. With another raise of his meaty fists he led the open charge of his group out into the open arena.

Mwezi joined the ranks of the alien allies, baring his teeth in preparation of this fight. It was primitive, but his jaw shape made fighting with biting a more effective strategy for him than a simple weapon. He’d do best in the front.

The alien growled slightly in readiness for the fight, and took his queues from the group as to his actions.

As their alien allies and Mwezi and the others lead the charge out into the arena they quickly were engaging four of the large toothy beasts. Their brutish alien allies were breaking into pairs to strike in practiced formation at the legs of the creatures as they reared up trying to stomp them in places. Meanwhile two purple/pink other kinds of aliens with humanoid forms were gliding from wall from wall when being chased by two more of the large beasts. The two purple/pink aliens seemed to be in fright while gliding from spot to spot trying to find a means to escape clearly while the two other alien beasts tried to eat them.

Chris shook his head and put his head down. Silently he whispered. “F#@k!” Then looked up as everyone ran into the cave. He was now alone, outside, on the ground and without any weapons. He kept scanning the area to try to keep from being ambushed while he crawled to a better vantage and cover location.

Blaze found him and pulled him to cover as he got an arrow ready to fly. All the training he went through as a kid came back to his parents excellent marksman and he never forget the skills he learned from them. His eyes and arrow he pulled the arrow back and let it fly into the darkness where he saw the movement.

As Blaze pulled the CO to cover of some of the fallen rubble stone around the arena his first shot nicked the flank of one of the rearing beasts.

IC: Taiya instinctively ducked in next to the Captain as she surveyed the battlefield. “Any ideas sir?” She asked, quickly checking him over.
