The corridor angled to left and right out of sight about 20ft to either way, to see where either one lead they would have to choose a direction and see what happened.

After making sure that the others had the captain, Deggur tried to see down the corridors but could only see a short distance either way. “Left or right?” he asked to the room.

“Agreed. ” Chris said as he was being helped into the hallway. “Make sure no one is left behind. Carry whomever you can. Once we get to the split in the hallway we will send two people over to the right to look down that hallway. I don’t want to send more in case they get blocked off. Assume that whomever has us here, that they can hear and understand everything we say. So watch what you say. I say we go left away the hallway because I never do the right thing. Besides, statistically people go to the right more and they might be counting on that. “

Taiya quickly checked around the group to make sure everyone was ok. “Are we all ready to move out?” She asked, hoping no one had any major injuries from their capture.

After coming to terms with his surroundings William stretched to his full height, placed his hands behind his back and thought a moment “Statistics like that only mean anything within the context of where they are taken, your assumption is that they are working with Federation Statistical numbers to prove some hypothesis. This is more reminiscent of an actual intelligence test, I don’t want to make any early assumptions but it would fit” He turned back to the Captain “So long as we start by sticking to one side, use Trémax’s Algorithm provided we have some way to mark our journey. Provided this is a simple science experiment that should be enough to lead us out of a maze eventually.”

Chris blinked. “Um. Sure. I think I left my chalk in my other leg. But I guess you’re right doctor. We will just have to do the best we’re can. We could use blood as a means of marking but I’d like to find something else first. ”

Reid looked around the room one last time before they left. It was oddly well prepared. Either someone had been hunting or they had known where the Chernov was going to be. This wasn’t an impulsive blitz grab. Reid didn’t want to wonder if they were the first to take these tests.
