The corridor angled to left and right out of sight about 20ft to either way, to see where either one lead they would have to choose a direction and see what happened.

After making sure that the others had the captain, Deggur tried to see down the corridors but could only see a short distance either way. “Left or right?” he asked to the room.

“Agreed. ” Chris said as he was being helped into the hallway. “Make sure no one is left behind. Carry whomever you can. Once we get to the split in the hallway we will send two people over to the right to look down that hallway. I don’t want to send more in case they get blocked off. Assume that whomever has us here, that they can hear and understand everything we say. So watch what you say. I say we go left away the hallway because I never do the right thing. Besides, statistically people go to the right more and they might be counting on that. “

This is more reminiscent of an actual intelligence test, I don’t want to make any early assumptions but it would fit” He turned back to the Captain “So long as we start by sticking to one side, use Trémax’s Algorithm provided we have some way to mark our journey. Provided this is a simple science experiment that should be enough to lead us out of a maze eventually.”
