In sickbay the ship was shuddering and at battle stations, suddenly the ship shuddered harder and suddenly a white-blue light seemed to pass through the sickbay and presumably the ship. As it passed over each person a body twitching pain would pass through them and everyone would collapse into unconsciousness.

Like dominos, officers toppled to the floor.

Patients lay unconscious on their beds, officers splayed on their backs and sides. It was as if someone had taken a snapshot of the infirmary and they were frozen in time. But strangely, scans continued, vitals bounced and the steady blip of medical machinery left an eerie feeling in the sickbay’s sterile air.

Collapsed against the wall, the last thing T’Aria could recall was the subtle irritation of dealing with a childish Ensign.
