After getting some food in him Alexander walked into Engineering in Blue jeans a black button down and a white lab coat. The others were looking at him with a WTF look on there faces. He grabbed a pad that had the warp core power rates and the fuel burn rates. As he Thought so the data does not match. =^= Dr. Blaze to Dr.Reid can you meet me in your office I need to show you something =^=

[O]Yeah. I’ll be right there.[C] Reid walked back to his office from one of the engineering sublevels. “Doctor Blaze.” He said as stepped in. He poured himself a cup of coffee. What can I do for you?”

Blaze put the pad down “there is something wrong I check the power flow and the fuel burn we are using to much fuel to fast the number don’t match the math and I checked it 3 times so maybe we have a Leak somewhere or this old warp core is Bad and needs to be recalled“

Reid looked at the Ensign’s writings. Something was wrong. “I think I know what the problem is. If you check the deuterium tanks themselves, everything looks fine. I just got the report on that earlier. I think it’s the injectors. The flow rate is wrong.”

Blaze looked at him and pulled a other pad from his Brest pocket. “I replaced them with new ones before I ran the numbers they were new” he said placing the pad on the desk. He then look at Reid “how about we take a space walk. Face it If it is not the hardware or the software if it’s not an internal it might have to be ex ternal”

Not entirely comfortable with the idea, but seeing no way to dissuade Blaze, Reid said “Ok. Let’s go for a walk.”

Then blaze smiled “or we can use SED she can stay out there longer can find micro cracks and seal them up”
