NE Juarez from Engineering was in the Jefferies Tubes between decks 12 and 13 working on the electrical connections when a loud zap and pop occured and smoke started filling the tube going down and out onto deck 12 filling the hall. NE Juarez was now hanging limp in his harness.

Monitoring the Engineering terminal at the chiefs station, NE Quinn frowned as a warning light illuminated, warning of a drop in power on deck 12. As he attempted to access maintenance logs, his panel suddenly lit up like a christmas tree, warbling alarms ringing out through engineering. He slapped the comm terminal next to the station
