Setting the PaDD down, T’Aria waved the medical scanner to confirm the file’s claim on his physical wellbeing. This man had been hard on his body, and she couldn’t deny surprise that he seemed in the near epitome of health–especially if these scans confirmed it.

Her scans would indeed confirm that he was in outstanding health. The only medication listed as a regular prescription in his records was a mild anti-inflammatory gel taken weekly through hypospray.

Whitney (CE)

“Understood.” She nodded, running over his medical file in search of the medication’s name. Cross-referencing the medication with their inventory, she confirmed its precense, dismissing any prior thoughts of treatment substitution. “What day would you prefer the injections to take place?”

He shrugged “I don’t have a particular preference, as long as we schedule it for a time after the end of my duty shift. I find it causes some incorrigible itching”

“Fascinating,” T’Aria muttered, taking a mental look into the itching. “Does Sunday work well for you, Lieutenant?” She knew it to be one of the calmer days–if the universe was on their side.

“It appears you are in outstanding health, Lieutenant.” T’Aria lowered the scanner, considering him a second. “As soon as your height and weight have been recorded, you may leave.” She wrote down his vitals, quietly gesturing her head to a nearby scale.

He stepped over the scale, smiling at the comment.

After a few more instructions, his height and weight written in his file, T’Aria stepped back. “Thank you, Mister Whitney. You are hereby cleared for duty, and may leave when you are ready.”
