I’ve just been messaged by Trin, indicating they’re resigning for IRL reasons. They’ve been part of the Chernov for many many years. From my notes, I see the first mention of an “Ensign T’Aria” joining in November 2016 (aka November, 2265). This ensign slowly climbed the ranks, A year later, she was a lieutenant and CMO, a position she held for about 2 years. T’Aria was then on a hiatus until March 2019 (aka March, 2268), when she became XO. She held the position of XO until December 2023 (aka December, 2272), when Kastarak became XO. When Kastarak became CO, T’Aria was reinstated as XO.

I am awfully grateful for everyting Trin’s done for this ship over the years. When real life allows Trin to come back, there’ll always be a place on this ship for Trin. I will miss Trin’s writing, counsel, and camaraderie here.

I will deal with the vacancy that has occurred shortly.
